Thirty-two
year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency Jack Devine has written a book
called Good Hunting.
Your main job in the
field was recruitment, which is a nice way of saying you got people to betray
their countries for money. How do you do that?
How do you sell
anything in life? You have to have a product, you have to develop a
relationship, and in that relationship, you have to be able to identify
people’s strengths and weaknesses. And then you have to be able to ask that
tough question: Will you help me? There is a sense of timing in it. It is an
art form.
