The Story of the Farmer and Perhaps ...

How Bad Luck Becomes a Blessing – Perhaps
Once upon the time there was an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbours came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically.

"Perhaps." the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "What great luck!" the neighbours exclaimed.

"Perhaps." replied the old man.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbours again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.

"Perhaps." answered the farmer.

The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son’s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbours congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.

"Perhaps." said the farmer...

And the Moral of the Story
While we should certainly celebrate when things go well we should not get carried away. Simultaneously, when bad things happen we should not lose our cool.

Life is not only a series of ups and downs but also, in the fullness of time some "bad luck" may turn out to be "good luck."

Experience teaches us that it pays to have a sense of equanimity throughout both life's good and bad times. And that I life is not a collection of discrete occurrences or events but that everything we do is linked together; our lives are a series of interconnected days.

Why YOU Should Want To Be Famous

What are you doing to get famous?
Imagine if you were “famous” for what you do in your chosen line of work, how much would that help your business?

In order to become famous you have to use your name and your face in your marketing and be the kind of person your potential customers want to do business with.

You will need visual and auditory messages that grab people’s attention and that are hard to forget. And deliver those messages often.

It’s worth the effort – it will take a minimum of a year - because unless you screw up and become ‘infamous’ once you are famous for what you do, that’s it! You are famous, and your marketing and sales efforts will be easier and more effective forever – maybe not forever but you will have an effective brand for at least 10 years.

So Get Famous!

Motivational Monday: Make 'Good Morning' an Action and a Belief

Motivation is a phenomenon that can impact an individual’s mood, behaviour, and productivity for the day.

People always hear that eating breakfast in the morning is a good way to start out your day. However, the same can be true for taking a few minutes out of your day and wishing someone else a good morning. The below listing of good morning motivational messages is intended to help bring some cheer and productivity to someone else’s day.

Every morning you have two choices, continue your sleep with dreams or wake up and chase your dreams.
The Choice is Yours.

Good morning is not just a word; it’s an action and a belief to live the entire day well.

Morning is the time when you set the tone for the rest of the day. Set it right!

Good thoughts precede great deeds. Great deeds precede success. Have a great day.

Helping people, being kind, doing something new is my new agenda every day. That is the way I build up my morning and stay vibrant all day long.

If you don’t wake up right now with your full might, you will never be able to achieve that dream you saw last night.

If you think positively Sound becomes music Movement becomes dance Smile becomes laughter Mind becomes meditation and Life becomes a celebration.

Life is perishable – the quicker you consume it, the better it feels. Stop thinking, start living.
Never get tired of doing little things to others, because sometimes those little things may mean so much to them.

One of the joys in life is waking up each day with thoughts that somewhere, someone cares enough to send a warm morning greeting!

Sometimes, life gets so busy that we could not find time to say “Thank you” to someone who has been so nice and wonderful. “Thank you!”

Success comes to those who have the will power to win over their snooze buttons.
Wishing you an awesome morning.

So now when you say 'Good Morning' make it a belief that you will act to make a reality.

The Story: One Foggy Morning and the Moral is ......

One Foggy Morning

You have walked the route a hundred times before, and yet one early morning it is radically different. There is a thick fog in the air, and suddenly the world does not seem the same.

Though the trees, the buildings, the lights and the roads are where they have always been, on a foggy morning you experience them in a new way. Simply due to excessive moisture in the air, you cannot help but see the world differently.

The fog changes your perspective. And because of that change in perspective, life can feel more frightening, or adventurous, mysterious, or invigorating.

The objective reality of life is important. But what matters more to you is your perspective, because your perspective determines the way you experience reality.

Although there are limits to the ways you can change reality, there are NO limits on how you can change your perspective.

Your response to any situation can be improved by choosing a more motivating, empowering perspective.

The Moral of The Story
To find Success, raise your perspective to the most positive one you can imagine and your life will reflect that choice.
